And our Primary School will also be there again, its choir both opening and closing the ceremony - the latter with the stirring Scots Wha Hae. Our Brownies will present Kirsty with a bouquet of flowers, and, in addition, onlookers will also be addressed by Mrs Marjory McLachlan, the Lord
Lieutenant of Stirling County, and by Graham Nash, minister of the Bruce Memorial, whose name commemorates that visit on the eve of Bannockburn and which 'evolved' almost 600 years after it.
Present, too, will be our local Councillors Scott Farmer, Neil Benny and Christine Simpson, as will village-based Councillor Steven Paterson who represents Stirling East and MSP Bruce Crawford. Unfortunately, Ann McGuire MP has had to call off, but sends her congratulations.
The ceremony is planned to begin at 10.30am (to be confirmed-watch notice boards, website, Facebook)
(Anyone who wants to learn the full history behind the Well, and, indeed, the Church, can buy A Cambusbarron Tapestry from Cambusbarron Library: all proceeds to the village's Goodwill Fund.)
