The club will be available for all school-age children, operating times will be between 8-9am and 3-6pm Monday to Friday and during school holidays if there is enough demand. It will be held in the church hall.
It recently had a competition for a club logo which was featured in the Observer. A display of all entries will be up in the library by the end of this week.
The funding committee are currently completing lots of funding applications and the club is very happy to announce it has secured funding to the value of £2000 from Stirling Council.
Club spokesperson Fionn McIntosh said: "We will very soon be asking interested parties to sign up for their child's place in the club by sending all school, nursery and playgroup children home with a club update and sign-up form to complete and return."
Alternatively, the club can be contacted via email firstname.lastname@example.org or by checking out the club's Facebook page.
"There is a core team of about 15/20 parents and others who are working really hard to get this started," added Fionn. "If people want a guaranteed place for their child, I would suggest they sign up as soon as they get the form."
