There will be a Commonwealth Games theme at the club in the church hall from August 11 to 15 from 10am to 12.30pm. The cost is £1 a day (pay at the door). Book now to guarantee a place. For more info, text Josh at 07726 457174 or email email@example.com
PENDING CONSIDERATION – Still the status of both the Hayford Mill and the 1 St Ninians Road planning applications. They created a lot of public interest at the start of the year and the community council commented on them.
It’s expected that both will likely go before Stirling Council’s Planning Panel at a future date.
LIBRARY – Visit Cambusbarron Library as soon as possible to book your child’s place in the Mythical
Maze craft sessions during the summer holidays to celebrate the Tesco Bank Reading Challenge.
PROGRESS ON PATH – Hopes are high that a new link path from the corner of the community centre to the existing paths network in the King George V Park can be completed in the next few months.
The path will be appreciated by library or community centre users walking or pushing prams from the Persimmon Homes area or even from the Grampian Road/Kenningknowes/Coneypark developments. Some fundraising ideas would be appreciated. Contact community councillor Alan Rennie on firstname.lastname@example.org
THANKS – On behalf of the community council, Marion MacAllister thanks all volunteers this summer who worked at the gala, car count, March of the Ghillies etc. And she asks that any day-glo vests are returned to her or any other community councillors for use in future years.
